Prop Lex – Law Exhibition
Prop Lex is a Property Law exhibition organized by the 19th Batch of the Department of Law, University of Jaffna, was successfully held on 23 June from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. at the Arts Faculty Lobby. Following nearly two months of dedicated preparation, students presented key Property Law concepts, including State Land Acquisition, Servitudes, Paulian Actions, Possessory Actions, Rei Vindicatio, Condominiums, Mortgages, Rent, and State Land Distribution through informative displays and practical illustrations.
The exhibition attracted students, academics, and members of the public, fostering a greater understanding of legal principles and their practical application. More than an academic exercise, PROP LEX served as a valuable legal awareness initiative, reflecting the commitment, teamwork, and enthusiasm of the students 19th Batch of Department of Law under the guidance of Mrs. Puradhani Mathanaranjan.
