Realising Your Potential & Achieving Career Success

On 4th August 2024, the Career Guidance Cell of the Faculty of Arts organized a program titled “Realising Your Potential & Achieving Career Success” in collaboration with the Career Guidance Unit at the University of Jaffna. This event, conducted by Dr. Sabesan Sithamparanathan, aimed to assist students in identifying their potential and planning their career paths. Approximately 50 students participated, actively engaging in discussions and asking questions regarding career development and the next steps in their professional journeys. The session also provided a platform for students to showcase their soft skills by interpreting Thirukkural and writing poems, while each participant articulated their career goals. Dr. Sithamparanathan offered valuable insights and suggestions to enhance their goals, emphasizing the importance of pursuing them with passion. Overall, the program was a success in empowering students and fostering a proactive approach to career development.
